All men and women with an interest in gardening are invited to visit or join our club.
Our meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month from September through
May at the University Baptist Church at 16106 Middlebrook.
We begin with refreshments at 9:00 a.m., followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m.
Typical program topics include native plants, container gardening, yard art,
landscaping, lawn care, composting, organic gardening. A growing number of
our members are certified Texas Master Gardeners, who are happy to share
their knowledge.
Other activities include organized trips to various places of horticultural
interest in the Upper Texas Gulf Coast and visits to private gardens.
