Join Us

All men and women with an interest in gardening are invited to visit or join our club. Gardeners By The Bay (GBTB) garden club meets the first Wednesday of each month, September through April. Meetings are held at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, 77062.

We begin with refreshments at 9:00 a.m., followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m. Typical program topics include native plants, container gardening, yard art, landscaping, lawn care, composting, organic gardening. A growing number of our members are certified Texas Master Gardeners, who are happy to share their knowledge.

Other activities include organized trips to various places of horticultural interest in the Upper Texas Gulf Coast and visits to private gardens.
