Discover the art and science of propagating fruit trees through T-bud grafting! Join Galveston County Master Gardener Hazel Lampton for this interactive, hands-on workshop designed to teach gardeners the techniques used to successfully graft many common fruit trees.

Participants will explore:
- Why grafting is used to improve fruit quality, preserve desirable varieties, and speed fruit production.
- How to select compatible rootstock and healthy budwood.
- Proper timing and techniques for successful T-bud grafting.
- Best practices for caring for newly grafted trees.
- Applications for peach, plum, pear, apple, citrus, and other compatible fruit trees.
This workshop combines classroom instruction with live demonstrations and hands-on practice, giving participants the confidence to begin grafting their own trees at home.
Workshop is limited to 20 participants. You must pre-register to participate.
