October 10 - Federation of Garden Club meeting. 10:00 am social, 10:30 am meeting.
The October Federation meeting is Friday, October 10 and Gardeners By the Bay, as part of
“Zone 2,” is asked to supply refreshments – 2 cookie trays (3 dozen cookies each), 2 salads, and
a large plate of sandwiches cut into quarters. A big THANK YOU to Kris Murphy, who, very
generously, donated garden plaques in the name of the club for raffle prizes. We still need
people to help with the food. If you can make (or buy) any of the food items that GBTB is
responsible to bring, please let Virginia Cross (281-217-1846) or Leslie Wong (281-935-6442)
know as soon as possible, and, at the latest by our next GBTB meeting on October 1. Leslie will
take the food to the Federation meeting if you cannot attend. Please volunteer in any way you
can! And, thank you, in advance for all your help!
