The next Houston Federation of Garden Clubs meeting is Friday, April 14, 2023, 5308 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX. Social starts at 10:00 am, where you may help yourself at the refreshments table, buy tickets for raffle items, and buy plants. The meeting begins at 10:30 am. April’s program is presented by Alan Masters, AIFD, CFD, who will design and build several floral designs in real time. Viewers will be able to watch and learn some trade secrets as Alan Masters demonstrate his floral design technique.
During the meeting, we will see beautiful specimens of blooms from various members’ gardens. We will also hear from Sarah Bently, Federation Horticulture Chair, about the growing and care of Herbs in Pots!
After the meeting adjourns, several of Mr. Masters designs will be available for sale. HFGC Newsletter
New Officer Workshops: Congratulations, you’ve been elected!
After the April meeting, please attend the free workshops for Presidents, Program Chairs, and Treasurers, to be inspired and get the tools to make your new year of leadership fun, educational, and low stress. Network with officers from other garden clubs to share ideas and gain moral support. Anyone can attend.
