The bus will leave from the Webster Presbyterian Church parking lot at 9:00 AM. Please remember to bring water, mosquito repellant, binoculars, and wear walking shoes. We will take the ferry to Bolivar Peninsula and then eat lunch at Stingaree, a seafood restaurant on the Intercoastal Waterway. After lunch, we will go to the Rookery to see Roseate Spoonbills as well as the Great Egrets and their offspring. On the way back, we plan to stop at Magpie's Nest, a home and garden shop in Galveston.
Tickets to the Rookery are $10. Isabelle Sutula will have a sign-up sheet available at the GBTB meetings. As always, exact change is appreciated.
